Kids Yoga Programs

Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that's non-competitive. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, and coordination. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness improves.

Mindfulness helps children create a positive outlook, focus, manage stress and anxiety, understand their bodies, relax, calm, soothe and self-regulate emotions. Wild Yogis 
Ages 4
-7 yrs

This 6-week Wild Yogis Series we will be exploring Yoga through all things Fall Adventure!

Each week we will explore yoga movement and mindfulness through fun fall activities, appropriate for kids ages 4-7yrs. 

In this lively class, kids learn basic yoga elements through focused breathing, play, storytelling, balance, and creative visualization.

Girls Club
ages 8-12 yrs

Thursday's @ 6:00PM

​An 8-week program devoted to young girls, so they can navigate their way in this world in which social media, comparison and body image is at the forefront of our culture. 

​

Designed specifically for girls ages

8-12 yrs when, research shows, self-esteem starts to decline. 

 

We use mindfulness, self compassion, conversation and meditation practices to help girls survive and thrive by learning to listen to themselves.

 

The goals of the program:​

  • To use movement as a way to help girls feel into their bodies, release from their nervous systems, and connect to their own inner strength and power.

  • To increase emotional intelligence, happiness, resiliency, and confidence.

  • To create a safe community space where girls can be themselves and learn to support each other creating a sisterhood.

  • To help girls develop a healthy body image through movement and self care practices.

  • To provide guidance to girls surrounding social media use and introducing healthy social media practices

  • To give girls an opportunity to have a voice and trust it.​​​​

Yoga & Art
Ages 8+yrs

Class will begin with a yoga practice which warms up kids to be super centered and creative.

 

Our sessions will invite youth to explore textures through a variety of art materials, practice mindfulness and meditation through creative expression, and engage in journaling and meaningful craft activities.
