Kids Yoga Programs

Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that's non-competitive. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, and coordination. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness improves.

Mindfulness helps children create a positive outlook, focus, manage stress and anxiety, understand their bodies, relax, calm, soothe and self-regulate emotions. A Wild Soul Studio we cater to all age groups of children, be sure to reach out with any questions to find the best fit for your child! 

Wild Yogis 
Ages 4
-7 yrs

This 5-Week Wild Yogis Series we will be exploring Yoga through all things Fall Adventure!

Each week we will explore yoga movement and mindfulness through fun fall activities, appropriate for kids ages 4-7yrs. 

Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that's non-competitive. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, and coordination. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness improves. In this fun class, kids learn basic yoga elements through focused breathing, play, storytelling, balance and creative visualization.

5-Week Series 

Thursday's 5:30-6:15pm
September 12th- October 10th

Girls Club

A program devoted to young girls so they can navigate their way in this world in which social media, comparison and body image is at the forefront of our culture. 

​

Designed specifically for girls ages 8-12 when, research shows, self-esteem starts to decline. 

​

We use movement & yoga to help girls connect with their bodies.

 

We use mindfulness, self compassion, conversation and meditation practices to help girls survive and thrive by learning to listen to themselves.

 

The goals of the program:​

  • To use movement as a way to help girls feel into their bodies, release from their nervous systems, and connect to their own inner strength and power.

  • To increase emotional intelligence, happiness, resiliency, and confidence.

  • To create a safe community space where girls can be themselves and learn to support each other creating a sisterhood.

  • To help girls develop a healthy body image through movement and self care practices.

  • To provide guidance to girls surrounding social media use and introducing healthy social media practices

  • To give girls an opportunity to have a voice and trust it.

Yoga & Art
Ages 8+

Class will begin with a Yoga Practice which warms up kids to be super centered and creative.

 

Our Arts and crafts will involve exploring textures through different materials and they will explore mindfulness and meditation through art, journaling and crafts.

Wild Tribe: Girls Retreat

Sunday August 18th, 2024

11am-2pm

 

Our Wild Tribe Retreats are full of activities that inspire self expression through yoga, nature, activities and now Trail Riding! 

We will be returning back to Willow & Water Coldstream for this years retreat again! We will be joined by Horse Owner & Trainer Mia, for a one of a kind girls experience! 

​

Our day will include Yoga by the pond, a hike and leadership activities in the beautiful surrounding forest, a trail ride with Mia and her beautiful horse companions and a campfire lunch by the pond. 

 

Each registrant will receive:
- 1 hour guided Trail Ride with Mia

- Journal

- Camp fire lunch & snack

- Plus yoga, hiking and nature based activities 

 

Participants are asked to:
-dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear for riding (no flip flops).
-Pack a water bottle

Open to girls ages 10-14 years old.

 

Spots are limited.
