Class Descriptions

Awakening Yoga Flow

​Awakening Yoga Flow offers strength, flexibility, concentration, breath work, and often some form of meditation. The intensity and physicality of nonstop movement can help to focus the mind of newer yogis.

 

The Awakening Flow encourages you to move with your breath from pose to pose and rarely hold postures for any length of time until the end of class.

 

This class is powerful, dynamic and a lot of fun with a strong focus of on creative sequencing.

Restorative Yoga & Meditation

A one hour class of passive healing.

Great for beginners or advanced yogis alike, restorative yoga allows time for longer poses and deeper breathing, which helps to turn on the body’s relaxation response. Leave feeling calm and restored.

Hatha Flow

This class is suitable for women and men of all ages and most physical abilities. Discover why yoga is such a powerful tool for keeping you healthy in body, mind and spirit.

You will learn basic alignment principals, including modification options; the importance of focused mind and breath; “core”, what it is and how to strengthen it; the importance of pelvic floor health and it’s relation to core. Judgement free zone, no previous yoga or fitness experience required!

Vin to Yin Yoga

A delicious blend of active, flowing yoga sequences to enliven the body, finishing with floor-based Yin postures for a sense of peace and relaxation. Perfect for those days when you seek a balance of movement and stillness.

Sculpting Yoga Flow

An energizing class that will inspire you to move through the rest of your day with intention and ease.

Build Strength and body awareness through this high energy, faster flow style class with sprinkles of advanced asanas. 

Gentle Yin Yoga

Yin yoga focuses on static movement, breath work (Pranayama) and meditation to create a profoundly deep and rewarding practice. The primary differences between Yin Yoga and many other forms of yoga is that you are encouraged to NOT use your muscles and passive poses are held for several minutes. 

​

You will most likely be on the floor the entire time in various poses, so do not expect to sweat. It is not a vigorous practice of movement. However, many individuals who are tight can expect the practice to be very challenging because often times holding a stretch for several minutes is more intense and full of sensation than a vigorous practice.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a Low-Impact Program for Building Strength, Increasing Flexibility and Improving Posture.
 

My commitment to adapting Yoga to ALL bodies is strong. Yoga has become synonymous with health and well-being. It’s my mission to ensure that all students can create a strong, sustainable practice, especially if they need a bit of adaptation.

Our upcoming Chair Yoga Session is for students who can’t, shouldn’t or just don’t like to get down on the floor and back. Each week will be a little bit different.

Core Flow
